Cello Pecorino Romano is produced exclusively from fresh milk of sheep raised in the lush pastures of Sardinia, Italy. Pecorino Romano is still made today as it was over 2,000 years ago and has the Italian Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) certification. Aged over 9 months, it has a delicate balance of salt and nutty creaminess. Its distinctive savory taste makes it an excellent complement for Italian dishes.
